Accounts for less than 5 percent of the world population — and frequently withdraws from International treaties only to participate by threats of conflict and war, whiplashing between democratic feel-good fantasies and racist reality every fourth year — but expects global solidarity with local issues arising from its ever deepening self-inflicted wounds.
